Campaign Purpose
WE ARE STEPPING BOLDY INTO THE FUTURE!
The primary goal of our Church on The Move campaign is to establish our first permanent worship facility. This exciting project will help us live out our mission—to help people know God, find freedom, discover their purpose, and make a difference in the lives of others.
Highlights of the new facility include:
• A Multi-Purpose Worship Facility – seating for 800 people, a home for HighPoint Youth, and a welcoming space for community events.• An Expansive Lobby – complete with a welcome center, coffee shop, and comfortable seating areas.
• A Themed KidsPoint Pre-K/Elementary Wing – designed for kids’ ministry and versatile enough to serve as a daycare.
• Dedicated Growth Track and Dream Team Rooms – spaces that will help people take next steps and serve with excellence.
• A State-of-the-Art Production Suite – supporting worship, teaching, and outreach.
• Total Size – 31,800 square feet of ministry space.
• Estimated Cost – approximately $15 million.

A Message from Pastor Scott Niemeier
Hey Church Family,
I have some exciting news about the church and what the future holds. I hope and pray that, through this communication, you will be able to sense God’s direction as we walk together into all that He has for HighPoint. The community of Friendswood was built on faith, family, and education. When we started HighPoint in February 2018, we wanted to be a part of that mission for this area. We envisioned a church that would be around for generations to come as a lighthouse of God’s presence in our community, one where our children and grandchildren would have a place to worship and grow in their relationship with God. A place where people would come to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference in the lives of those around them.
I trust that the ministries of HighPoint have been a huge blessing to you and your family. As we look around at all God has done, we are simply amazed. God continues to bless HighPoint as we see growth in every area. With this growth comes some “good” challenges. Since our current income goes toward the operating budget, we are focusing on a solution to help build a permanent facility right here in Friendswood. We have the land, now it’s time to build. Church on the Move is the name chosen for our stewardship campaign. We believe that, with God’s direction, this campaign will fulfill the financial needs of the church building project. As part of our Church on the Move campaign, we are asking every household to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial commitment, over and above your ongoing tithes and offerings, to be given over the next three years. We encourage you to ask God what your part will be as we hope to raise the necessary funds to move forward with the building project.
I want to encourage you to be in church on Sunday, September 28th, for Vision Sunday. During this special service, you will learn more about our new building project and our Church on the Move campaign. We will discuss the importance of church-wide prayer during this crucial time, and we will share information about the new building and what future ministry will look like. These are exciting days of decision in our church. Let us commit to seek and act in faith in whatever God instructs us to do.
